Why Ceremonial Grade Matters

Ceremonial-grade matcha begins with the youngest and most carefully selected tea leaves.

Before harvest, the tea plants are shade-grown to increase chlorophyll and naturally occurring amino acids, contributing to matcha's vibrant color, smooth character, and rich flavor profile.

The leaves are then processed into tencha and traditionally stone-milled into an exceptionally fine powder, creating a matcha intended to be enjoyed on its own or as the foundation for premium matcha lattes.

How to Prepare

Traditional Matcha

• 1 teaspoon (2g) matcha
• 6 oz hot water (160°F–175°F)

Sift the matcha into a bowl, add a small amount of water, and whisk vigorously in a "W" motion until smooth and frothy. Add the remaining water and continue whisking until a fine foam forms.

Matcha Latte

Whisk matcha with a small amount of water until smooth, then combine with steamed or iced milk of your choice. Optional add sweetener

Because matcha is consumed as a finely milled tea leaf rather than steeped and discarded, it contains naturally occurring antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals.
